Demon Awakens - Real time rendering by Hypershot

Greeting cgtalkers, here is my latest's non-commercial works.
Gonna sharing with you guys what I enjoying for this real-time rendered pieces.

First I'm gonna credited Bunkspeed's Hypershot real-time render engine here. More information: http://www.bunkspeed.com/hypershot/
Few days ago I downloaded a free 15days trial version from Bunkspeed, so what you guys seeing aboved all just Hypershot's real-time screen shots.
( free trial version: unable to final render)

Rendering speed was awesome for me! Their slogan: Productivity is immediate. Learning is just minutes. It's real time, real fast.
My rendering aboved was tooking me around 6 to 10 minutes by my 3yrs OLD pc.(Core2duo 2.13Ghz, 2GBram, 7600GTgeforce)
No photoshop touch up at all, all is real time GI and DOF.I'm sure you will got faster rendering speed if using recent's brand new CPUs.

Making,
The demon was created by maya & zbrush. After zbrush's decimation for all objects is around 24million polys.
Export as obj and open it in Hypershot, get a preset studio-lighting from Hypershot, play around the preset shaders.
Then you might to see yours result on the spot. It's REAL TIME~!

Here is my recorded result for the realtime rendering.

Other pieces for DOF's result. Enjoy~!

Hi everyone, this is my latest artwork was submitted for Exotique 4 entries. ( Hope can get into it !)

I call her "Nritta". Nritta meaning as "Pure Dance" in traditional of India, their purpose is to create a collage of rhythmic
lines, forms and shapes for the sake of their own art - to share the beauty of the abstract form.

I create this in my spacetime for self-improvement too. Everything was done in Maya and Zbrush. Hair create by Shave & Haircut.
Rendering was done by mental ray with miSSS_fast_skin shaders.
Photoshop was used for compositing ,little touch up and color correction.

Your comments is important and appreciated too.
Thanks for watching and hope you all love her. Enjoy~!

This is a 3D cartoon illustration created in my space time for self improvement. This dragon was originally designed by my favorite artist, Ben Henry.
He is also known by his nickname, 'Roundeye,' on the Internet communities where he posts. The title of this work, 'Roundeye Dragon,' comes from his nickname.
I am very honored and grateful to have been given Ben's generous permission to recreate his 2D drawing in 3D.

Based model done by Maya, Zbrush for sculpt & texturing painting.Export texture map, normal map, cavity map and displacement map from zbrush then render with mental ray.
I separate different light passes so later can adjust when composite in Photoshop. Background & smoke was matte painting by Photoshop too.

C&c is welcome.Thanks.
Hope you all have fun with it. Enjoy !

This is an illustration I made for Mirage Works.

The title, slogan and idea was created by an anti-smoking campaign in Singapore. The slogan : Why smoke when you can groove to the beat of life?

Everything was done in Maya, except for the cigarettes, dirt-map and smoke. The cigarettes was photo matted by the client and the dirt-map & smoke was added in Photoshop.
However, this piece is a little different compared with the ones that has been publicized in Singapore.

Here is the photo my friends took for the original piece at Singapore.
Hello, glad to post 3D work here.
It’s showing a man revolving to a wolf after hit by kind of special Light Source.
It my good practice how to composite a 3D wolf head into a real photo background with human body.
It’s not a commercial use art piece.

I’m the 3D artist who in charge the wolf head modeling, texturing, fur, rendering and compositing.
Concept idea behind this art piece and final matte painting was done by MirageWorks.
